Frontline Trauma Support:
Therapy for Healthcare Professionals, Paramedics, Firefighters & Dispatchers
Support, recovery, and lasting relief for professionals who’ve seen too much, worked too hard, and carried too long.
Processing the Trauma of Frontline Work
As a therapist with experience in both nursing and inpatient mental health care, I understand the realities of high stress, high consequence work—the crisis response, long shifts, constant pressure, accumulated grief, and the hypervigilance that doesn’t always turn off.
I help healthcare and emergency responders process burnout, moral distress, secondary trauma and other work-related stressors using EMDR, Brainspotting, and trauma-informed care, so you can restore resilience, regulate your nervous system, and continue your work without sacrificing your well-being.

I'm naturally direct, honest, and straightforward, and that's also my preferred communication style. I value open and transparent conversations, but I also recognize that sometimes a gentler approach is needed.
-
The frequency of sessions depends on your goals, the concerns you're working through, and what feels manageable for you.
For EMDR or Brainspotting, I generally recommend starting with weekly or bi-weekly (every two weeks) sessions. Meeting regularly at the beginning helps build momentum, develop coping skills, and provides the consistency needed to process difficult experiences safely and effectively.
As you begin to feel more stable and make progress, sessions can often be spaced further apart.
We'll regularly check in about what's working and adjust the frequency together, so your therapy fits your needs, goals, and schedule.
-
The number of sessions varies depending on individual needs and goals. We’ll work together to pace the work safely, focusing on integration and lasting nervous system change rather than speed.
-
Standard sessions are typically 50 minutes, but I also offer longer sessions (when appropriate) including intensives for deeper work in fewer appointments.

I understand that first responder schedules can be unpredictable, with rotating shifts, overtime and changing demands. I do my best to accommodate scheduling needs where possible. If you work shifts, let me know and we can discuss appointment options.
